ISIA Journey

The International Serum Industry Association (ISIA) was established in June 2006 with a primary focus on the serum industry. Initially, its efforts were concentrated on ensuring the quality, safety, and ethical sourcing of serum products.

Over time, the ISIA has expanded its scope beyond serum to encompass other animal-derived products used in the life sciences. The association plays a crucial role in traceability, best practices, regulatory compliance, and ethical standards for these products worldwide.

The ISIA continues to work closely with industry stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and research institutions to uphold integrity, safety, and innovation in the use of serum and other animal-derived materials.
